Is integrity testing legal for staffing agencies?

Yes. IntegrityFirst is EEOC-compliant, meets the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures including the 4/5ths rule, and is validated by industrial and organizational psychologists. It produces no adverse impact on protected classes. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management recognizes integrity and honesty tests as a legitimate, established assessment method in personnel selection. It is not a polygraph — written pre-employment assessments are distinct from lie-detector tools prohibited under the federal EPPA. Note that in staffing arrangements, both the agency and the client may share responsibility for lawful use.
